no no... that was fixed with C01, but the FD application itself appears to loose focus (even though it doesnt flash out of view) for a plit second... this can be easily observed if you try to switch GPS settings on a touchsreen.... you usually click the combo to see the options, and then click on your option (Basically click BAUD RATE \/ Then click 19200), well by the time I read all options the combo closed by itself due to the "SDK Flash"....(I just gave it that name cause it doesnt happen without the SDK and is kind of like a Focus Flash)

is this flashing even when you just run freedrive on its own, not embedded?

Hi netsuo, I will take another look at it, but can confirm it did work when I tested it.. give me a hour and I will have a look. It should work like the eta / etr, if you have that working, then just replace the fdeta with fdnextmandist and then when you start a route it should send the distance to the next turn. Dont forget to set your app name in the sdk.ini file

btw, did you download the update from post 24

If it only does it when embedded then its the embedding program not freedrive. I assume your on about RR. I will have a chat with Guino about this see if it can be resolved.

ok.. just been looking at the top infobar and how to remove it.. this can be done no probs, was just a matter of editing the destinator.ini file. Done this and workd great. I will have a play with adding a zoom bar when in 2d/birdseye view mode, this should make it easier for skinning.

    OK Thanks CDR!

About that substitution of the street type, I confirmed last night that it was reversing when the type was Av, but not for R... maybe it is only working for 2 digits? I noticed in the example that Pca was also not reversing, that is why maybe it is looking for 2 letters... I will try with " R" to see if that works and let you know... Thanks!

Oh, and did you have a think abpout maybe making it "templetable" so we can set the order for "Type","Street","Number","Zip", opr maybe even hide a field we dont want to be shown all the time?

PS, can we pull the information above separately in the current vrsion of the SDK (like Pull only ZIP, or only STREET NAME)
