Is there anyway to get a reminder to pop up on the screen with the speed you should be doing for the camera?

EDIT: ie the speedcam picture with the speed marked on it somehow.

yeah i'm planning something like this for the next release.. also going to put direction buttons on as well.. so when a alert happens, a onscreen menu type thing will appear.. something like the attached picture maybe.. but like you sad with the speed showing.. I also want to add a edit menu type thing so you can add a speed to a cam that doesnt have one and adjust one that does. The green arrow below is the direction your travelling in.. so next time u are heading the other way the alert wont happen :-) thats the idea anyway.. I havent started coding it in yet, but have ideas in my head.

ahh yeah the direction thing is a good idea because it does not discriminate between direction but to be honest I dont want to set a camera off at anytime so i always slow down, sorry check my speed

One thing about the POI stuff in D3 - they are crap!

The menus kind of let the qhole professional feel down too. Is it possible to remove the windows style boxes that pop up for the POI selection and skin them and remove the need to press a small windows X in the corner to close the box? I was wondering if this is just something you have not got round to doing yet or if it is another D3 limitation.

Oha nd I was talking to jcdillin and they get lists of different types of restuarant to display - roll on the online directory stuff is what i say

yeah not got round to the poi stuff yet.. its on the todo list .. lol like everything else :-) its more lack of time at the mo stoping me doing alot... new baby on the way.. still just finished doing my little lads room up, painted some sky / grass, and a road for his car (bed) no carputer fitted to it as yet. Stuck about 50 stickers all over his room of dif animals.. and he moved in last night for the first time.. anyway yep on the list fella

CdR - when ready to do the POI stuff, give me a shout - got some 'added' extras you can put into FD via the 'engine' currently being written from infomatics ;-)

The room sounds mint, as Scouse says, we should have organised the NW meet at your house and done some decorating for you!

I'm using NMEA. I just don't get it why this shouldn't work??
