    Hi CDR,

    Tried 0.85. Goods things

    But new bugs

Route is no more lost when closing
    Hibernate : a goood thing done !
    Faster opening !

    but :

Every time ETR is recalculated, Freedrive shout me "Drive carrefully". Good thing, in french interface it's only "Depart" I had to disable this message and i love your Voice Prompt. Works fine. Any more settings like this ?

When Etr and distance recalculated in town always new messages : ex approaching a runabout : turn left then turn right. What about this ?

In 0.85 ETA is not correctly calculated : ETA is only current time and not Current+ETR.

Last : If destinator can use different interfaces, your "direction" only use standard english interface : could you for strangers also refer to "DestinatorMSG.Inf" for yours indications ?

    Thanks

    Ok.

Hibernation seems to work now - good.

Also voice prompts have managed to disable - Sanity restored.

Now I've turned on the over speed warning. (Bad idea, won't bloody shut up) will have to disable this one as well. (or see if I can add a bit of margin to the warning point)

    i found a bug a while ago
and i confirmed on 0.85 as well...
if i put address "417 N Harvard Bl. Los Angeles" then save it as HOME...
if i press HOME it will direct me to "417 S Harvard Bl. Los Angeles"
if i go into Favorites then choose HOME it will direct me correctly...

    any idea?

    and one more thing...
is there anyway to save favorites list in different directory?
i think it is stored in file, 'previous.dat'
and it is used by MM and FreeDrive right?
i tried HOME in MM and it works fine...

    thank you...

Well CDR I finally managed to install my system in the car. I still cannot get the volume to lower when directions are spoken.
These are the settings that I have:

    [winamp volume]
    #decreases volume to %
    decreaseto=95
#decrease for amount of time in seconds
    decreasefor=5

Using the above settings, the volume of winamp should be going down pretty low when FD start to speak directions. Assuming the above is true, I should be able to hear the voiced directions very clearly and without hardly any music in the backgound. This does not happen in my case. The directions are spoken with the music playing with the same volume. I'm using RR as my front-end. Do I have to map the master volume that RR controls to a certain line?
    Any help would be appreciated

    Thanks for you time
The road is long but we are getting there.

Nice mate you have there in Gobby, CDR

Actually I find it works most of the time, occaisionally it doesn't work though.

However I am happy with the volume not beeing reduced, but can't be arsed to change the default settings in the ini at the moment.

I tested the winamp volume thing today and it does work :-) the settings you have above would only drop the volume by 5%.. you have decrease volume to 95% of original, try setting this to 5 then you will notice a difference :-)

Hey Cdr, after a few people complained that GPSSecure wasn't working with FreeDrive anymore I finally found the time to find out why. You switched the '!' to 'CUSTOM' in the messages FreeDrive sends No big deal but you also changed it so CUSTOMFDHEAD sends a direction ie. S/W instead of a degree. I prefer having the degree, was there a specific reason for switching it?
AMD XP 2600+/512MB RAM/120GB hard drive
    Opus 150W/DVD/GPS/7" Lilliput TS/802.11g/Bluetooth
    Installed.

    -GPSSecure- - GPS Tracking
    -AltTabber2.2.2- - Handy touchscreen utility.
