I don't think that would be very accurate at all. Getting your average consumptions at various speeds from a calculation spaced out over a full tank of gas would make the data worthless... especially when you consider that going a certain speed UP a steep hill would use a very different amount of gas than it would if you were going DOWN the hill... it depends on speed, yes, but also engine load, and how you drive it. and if the calculation isn't accurate, then it wouldn't be any better than just knowing your car's average fuel consumption for mostly highway driving, and mostly city driving.
