Thread: Volume!

I noticed the same thing. The voice prompts and speedcam warning are a lot louder than the mp3s playing in the background. The ability to adjust the volume of the warnings would be great. On a side note, the prompts sound a lot clearer when using RR (WinAmp) than WMP, strange but good

just open up the wav files in the sound recorder in windows and decrease the volume then save should fix the problem

Hmmm, I wonder if there is an equivalent of mp3gain for .wav files?

alter all the wav files in one go using WavGain

got mine down to a reasonable volume by dropping a decibel or two

I was about to start a new thread on this and found this one.

Surely it wouldn't be too hard for the next version to include an internal volume control? Its certainly way too loud, and makes simultaneously playing music and navigating impossible.

Yeh adjustable volume would be a good feature to add. I'm on my 2nd set of tweeters atm, FD directions ate the previous set.

Yeah I nearly blew a HLCD (Horn) the other day due to this. Its enough to stop me using it almost (which I dont want to do).

I will reduce the volume for the next release :-)
