It's possible to leave some kind of visual indication of where are we on the favs list? Not a big thing, but without the slider ( tks good for that ) we will have no idea of where we are on the list.

It would be Superb if you could find a way to make sure that whanever the favs screen pops up, the focus is always on the list object, so that moving the mouse scrool wheel controls the list.
I found out that for the ones that use some kind of encoder or powermate this is by far the best/fastest way to navigate the favs.

If we are going to have OV2 support then this app would be ideal for those in the UK as a Temp traffic messure - as long as there is a way to clear the POIs down some how in case they are out of date....

That been said Gobby - there is no reason you could not make an interface now for it or even build in to FD ? I how ever make it selectable as to what you can download... this way its a stop gap for the server side been sorted.

Here's a great solution to accessing traffic data when planning your journey from home created by Richard Sutcliffe and as it is 'DonateWare' you can try it for FREE, if you like it make a donation to the author, if you don't simply uninstall it.

Offline Traffic News sits on your taskbar and at regular intervals (approximately every half hour) retrieves live TPEG/XML traffic feeds from the BBC Travel website. Once collected these are converted into a single POI file containing latitude, longitude & a description of current incidents across the UK. The POI files are stored in My Documents so you can manually copy them into your TomTom Navigator map folder, or if connected via ActiveSync the software can be configured to automatically update the POIís on your Pocket PC. Once safely stored the user is notified by an unobtrusive popup window to let them know an update has been received.

With TomTom 5 you can plan a route and subsequently browse the map to see which incidents may affect your trip. As older Pocket PCís donít have a suitable GPRS internet link the offline nature makes it a useful alternative to the pay-as-you-go online updates that cost a fortune in mobile phone calls.

Download the installation package and guide here .

New version 0.3 now available (6 Sep 05)
    Improvements added:

    Added proxy credentials support
    Added proxy password encryption
I've also added a load of TMC icons for you to use in the future... there is one for most events there.

Bravellir - yeah already fixed for version 1.0, focus is put on the first one in the list, just like you have clicked on it with a mouse :-)

Also added the poi list now, so you can use the same on this. I sussed out the format with gobby last night of the ov2 files, unsure if we have time for them to make it into the 1.0 release but its going to be included soon.

I have afew more things to code in over the next week, then that will leave me a week to do a couple of skins and fix any bugs found.

Just played a bit with the logs function and it works great for recording and playback, but feels like something is missing to make it perfect.

Any plans on adding an option to log a few more details ? like for example, add,

    streetname;streetnumber

    to the current log?

I do use the info on the logs to help on the expenses reports
