What sort of POI support are you after? CdR and I have talked about it but so far haven't implemented anything other than what is currently in FD.
had a couple of hours spare tonight so decided to add route by long / lat. Just need to find a menu to put it on now :-)

Ideally - and I think this would benifit every one and not just me - the ability to take ov2 files from apps such as poiedit which can auto update for you and display each poi as the attached bmp for that set - ie MC Donnalds, Ford / Texco garages and so on. The POIs I guess will be useable like any other pre installed POI... ie find near .....Quote:

PS You probably know but OV2 is the Tomtom format and this also means that those cool disks from Ebay would also be compatible.
PPS - The voice packs are also usable as I know the format... not sure if it has the same commands... let me know if its does and if your intrested
PPPS - Are you planning to add any traffic support ?
Traffic support will be coming soon once I get the infomatics.info site back online .... the datacentre messed the server up but it will be coming back asap when I get some time. I will also be releasing the traverse app at the same time.
Wish I knew how to move it to another server as I could do that immediately.
Do you know the formats for the OV2 files? It may be possible to write a procedure to import them directly into FD or pull a stream of data direct from the freedrive website.Quote:

Just wondered thats all, have already sent a pm to Garo to see how we can alter things to allow his POI software to work with FD.
Can the new indicators (zoom mode and route mode) be made to show in a RR skin ?
