no probs.. always aim to please, just added a button to get back from full map to normal, and also a button that you place on the skin to get to full map.. tested and working :-) . I've now completed the transarent gif/bmp/jpg code where you say what colour you want transparent so in the skin it looks something like
[skin]
#Default size 800x600 by CdRsKuLL
#day and night skin name, can be .gif .jpg .bmp
day=day.gif
night=night.gif
#pixelmask colour that is made tranpsarent in HEX (000000 = black , FFFFFF = white)
pixelmask=000000,000000
#mapfull button
mapfull=0,0,50,50
just to give you an idea :-)

ok, had a few hours spare tonight, so finished off the transparent code, tarted afew bits up, but I've added a planning mode and navigation mode, you can also turn off the touchmenu when you are in fullmap mode, this allows you then to drag the map about :-). I still need to change the menus about.. looks like i'm going to have to have a second settings page now.. just to many things lol.. o yeah added a P and N mode indicator to the main skin as well.. see below for the corner screenshot

I've been in contact with a guy from France who is giving me some pointers to read TomTom POIs, which will allow us to import TomTom OV2 files into FreeDrive. I will post more once I have got a working example

So - in thery you could have have a button you press which starts the update ( See here ) then imports them in one go....

OV2 files are pretty easy to read. I have a .pdf file which contains a description of the file format. PM me if you want it.
