    Intresting UK Goolge Earth Traffic Project

    This one does loads including Tpeg / Weather / Trains... the main php page does a lot of the google earth coding and display while the Java scripts collects the data.

    May be of some use at least as a live web page but I was thinking there may be some thing you guys ( gobby / CDR ) can use... may be even borrow from the authour ?

    PS That thred also had two xml traffic links... The first one is the BBC - the 2nd one I think I know but as its published else where I feel I can copy it here...

    I've found a xml from BBC that updates via a feed from the Highways agency. Here's the URL.

    Can someone convert this to a .kmz? The other feed I have found is

    the lat/long looks wierd though...but the info is great!!! Again, needs converting to .kmz

    The BBC is TPEG, the other is TMC.
    Also - For Traffic Data Sources - The Scotland one and the Wales one has a list of Traffic Cams as well... heres hoping the UK one will catch up. ( I spoke too soon http://www.highways.gov.uk/news/news...ewsid=15130772 )

    Gobby / CDR I've just have had a chat with some one from MXdata - the company that owns the rights to show the HA Camera network.

    They are not allowed to charge for the images them selves although there is a contact to say it has to go via their software - that been said there may be possiblitys.

    I have a contact name here of their comercial directer person who I am told is best placed to look at how to provide the data etc...

    I mentioned that this is a FREE project which is community driven - ie we just want access rather than py for their software - again this is some thing that needs discussing with this person.

    The good news is that they are about to launch a .net version how ever the person I spoke to was unsure as to if this included an SDK.

    BTW - MXData are the company that run traffic.tv
