    Unhappy Need help to display FD informations in RR, please !

    Hello everybody,

    I would like to display Freedrive informations like speed, Altitude, and so on ... in RoadRunner skins. I follow the specifications in SDK.INI file from FD like "SETLABEL;CUSTOMFDSPEED;30" exemple but without success display in RoadRunner.

    Does i have to activate a special function before in RoadRunner or in FreeDrive ?
    Someone have already do that, how it's explained in SDK.INI file from FreeDrive ?
    Someone could send me some exemples ?

    Best regards, and many thanks for your help.

    Yes, question seconded, Can someone explain how this is done exactly?
    I've been trying the same thing but I can't get it to work.

    (With a bit of luck and some instructions from CDR I've been able to get his gps.swf to work, but I'm not sure on how the how and why...)

    OK let me try

    First, the below settings are placed in the .skin file of RR where you want them to show up. Usually the GPS.skin file.

    L01,8,34,76,33,255,255,255,24,"MgDigital:B","CUSTO MFDSATS","center"
    L02,7,94,77,33,255,255,255,14,"MgDigital","CUSTOMFDDIST","center"
    L031,7,123,77,33,255,255,255,16,"MgDigital:B","CUS TOMFDHEAD","center"

    This is just an example of three options that will be shown in RR.
    These setting will show
    The distance to the end of the route : FDDIST
    The number of lock sats: FDSATS
    Your current heading :FDHEAD

    Now open the SDK.ini in FreeDrive

    and activate the commands that you want to show up in RoadRunner

    by placing the word "RoadRunner" (without the quotes) next to the option that you want to show in RoadRunner

    FDSPEED=
    FDSATS=RoadRunner
    FDETA=
    FDETR=
    FDHEAD=RoadRunner
    FDROAD=
    FDLONG=
    FDLAT=
    FDALT=
    FDTIME=
    FDDATE=
    FDEND=
    FDDIST=RoadRunner
    FDUNITS=
    FDMAN=
    FDNEXTMAN=
    FDNEXTSTREET=
    FDNEXTMANDIST=
    FDMANFULL=
    FDCAMS=

    You can include more option using the same method

    Thats about it

    Have fun

    Regards
    The road is long but we are getting there.
