Slider changed & voice to late

    Hello,

Since I installed FD v0.9 my slider changed into another (smaller) slider. How can I change it back the way it was? Here a picture:

I also have a problem with the muting. When FD gives directions the music volume decreases for a few seconds. During navigating this works fine, but when I arrive at the destination the music volume mutes and after a few seconds when the volume is back at the normal level the voice says you have arrived at your destination. Is this a software bug or a wrong configuration?

Where can I change the muting percentage and time used when voice prompts are made? I couldn’t find it in the ini file.

The slider is located part of the destinator.bmp file it's located here:

    C:\DestinatorApps\Destinator\Common\Interface\Visu al\All\

Check if you have another version of destinator.bmp and see if the slider in it is correct (the file is a huge vertical bitmap, the sliders are on the left side.) If you don't have another version, send me a pm, I've got about 6 versions.

You can set the muting percentage in the configuration of destinator itself. (just start it without using FD or MM)

    Bedankt Meelobee!

I found the problem with the slider. In Mapmonkey I had the Dutch skin installed, the destinator.bmp of the dutch skin is different. Installing the default skin has solved the problem. Apparently the settings of MM have effect on the settings of FD.

Now the muting problem has to be solved. When I arrive at my destination the music mutes, after 3 seconds the music is back at the normal volume. And a few seconds after that the voice says, that I have arrived at the destination.

Yup, both MM and FD use Destinator so if MM changes something in the common destinator settings, you will see it in FD.

As for the other problem, I remember having a similair problem with the sound mute being to short, lemme see if I can find that thread....brb..

Edit: Do I understand correctly that the mute isn't long enough? There is an option in one of the ini's: Changing value in the line "ManeuverRepeatTimeout=15" to 0 will stop the loud voices. (I think this is in Freedrive.ini, but I'm not sure, I haven't got a pc with FD/MM/Destinator installed here, Ill check tonight and let you know )

I knew they both use Destinator, but I thought that they had separate (.ini) settings.

EDIT: I found your topic, but there is no solution in there: Notifications are too late

Your problem was that all voice prompts came to late. My problem is that the final destination prompt comes to late.
