    what is freedrive?

    *flame suit on*

    i've been out of the loop on the whole carputer deal... ever since i got mine to work... i haven't been lurking around...

    i started looking for new skins for RR and started reading up on this "freedrive"

    I know its a GPS software... i know its free... and that it uses destinator SDK...

    i'm guessing destinator SDK is NOT free?

    Or am I tripping and freedrive is a complete GPS routing software?

    the SDK is for the developer and you dont need to worry about it. All you have to worry about is purchasing the maps. FreeDrive will do the rest.

    Not strictly true.


    might be worth a read of this thread . Although it is Map Monkey, FreeDrive uses the same SDK therefore the same applies to it.
