Testet on the road today! Nice CDR!!![]()
downloading, and can't wait to play!!!!
THANKS
CDR, how do I make it so that the 2d/3d button switches between 2d and Birdseye instead?
Also, is there a way now to control the windows volume settings when FD is giving a voice prompt? or Frodo?
you can change the 2d3d commands in skin.ini in your defualt folder to Toggleview which will toggle between all three. At the moment there isnt a command to switch between 2d straight to birdseye.
FD should make the winamp volume lower only, at present it won't work with Frodoplayer as I believe it uses MediaPlayer. Maybe Frodo can help us at some point to allow us to lower frodos volume before a voice prompt.
Much thanks, worked like a peach.
Two issues. First is really minor. Whenever you bring up the menu, the map shifts a little bit. It's just an annoyance.
Second is a larger issue, FD is taking up 79% system resources everytime I hit anything. That is after turning off fade effects. This is on a P4 2.8 GHz machine with 512 meg of ram and a PCI video card. Is it supposed to be this cumbersome? I would definetly like to use the fade effects, but they took up 99% of resources.
Thanks
Matthew
Other than that, it looks freaking awesome. I'm taking a test drive as soon as I post this message.
Unsure why your suffering so much cpu usage.. I've tried it on several machines and it doesnt really got over 30%.. and with the fadeeffect turned off it should be the same as any other FD version. Will have a thinkOriginally Posted by techy101
