Thread: Release FreeDrive 1.0 Preview

Hey, you know the transparent screen over Freedrive containing cam, sats, streetname info. When I use RR and exit FD back to another menu in RR, that transparent info was still there. I dont know if that is a bug (or incidental feature) but I found it really, really usefull to play around in another screen but still get the info on when to take a turn.
Is this something that can be set in Freedrive? It dissapears when I touch RR a second time. Is it possible to set somewhere that I want it there to stay?

Thanks for the release ... going to test it tommorow. My antenna has been tweaking out lately, it gets a signal while in my garage but out in the open with a clear view of the sky it doesn't come in at all .... i'm scratchin my head ...

I get this too! Will be fixed soon, need to get my coding head back on and start some of the bug fixes.

Would it be possible to make some kind of setting that some of the data will be visible even if you leave FD? (like speedcam's when to take a turn, essential data like that)

I found it pretty useful actually, to still see that info when I move to another screen in RR.

have read about the SDK part of FreeDrive?

Do yourself an RR skin with FD skin commands in it.

Well I've just tried 1.0 in RR and it doesn;t want to embed at all.
I get a black screen with the menu buttons only, FD doesnt load.
ANy ideas?

have you had the previous versions working or are you a freedrive virgin?
