Map Cutter and PN 2005 maps...don't work??

Sorry for the reply, but is it important for solved this question:

I have the Q3 2005 PN maps for try...

Well, Map Cutter of MM, dont' work ok for remake the maps of D3 compatible.

In the 2005 PN maps,the file WCE_A.DAT not it's make in the same format of 2004 PN maps.

If anyone use the same procedure for create new maps type 2004 PN maps, but use 2005 PN maps, Map Cutter of MM crash.

With the Consolle original of PM,if you cut the maps, this don't working with D3 SDK based frontend....

EDIT:I know all for make the PN maps with MapCutter for work with MM, or FD o GN , but the problem it's this new format of WCE_A.DAT 2005 to PN maps!

If anyone have remake one maps to PN 2005 with MapCutter by MM, please, write for all the procedure!

The same problem with the new D6 maps (Version 2006.Q1.4146 for Swe/Nor/Fin/Den)

Yes, the same,only Israel D6 2006 map work.

The motive:
this small map don't have all the features implemented in the 2005 PN and 2006 D6 maps.

Very big question solved this problem!

I may have the solution for this:
Hexedit the files WCE_A.map,WCE_A.POI,WCE_A.POI and WCE_A.TAB:
change the fifth and seventh bytes of each files from $02 to $01.

Thats it!

Worked for me with 2006 maps...

How do you do that, and in what editor?

as i said: you hexedit it with a hex editor like WinHex for example.
open the files with winhex or whatever then change the fifth and seventh bytes form 02 to 01 and then save the files. thats all.

Hmm i do not find the $02? in any of mine files? am I doing somthing wrong?

My maps are "Skandinavia:

Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden
Version 2005.R2.3622 - map of TeleAtlas. HLG3, Toll roads, Rural, WES2. Signed map"
