FreeICE v1 Frontend New Version out..

Have anyone tried Destinator 7 in Freeice? I tried it but does not load properly. I set it up in the fi.ini as the gps then run FI. When I press GPS button it loads and then shows the menu of Destinator not properly embeded. When I choose the Map Button on the D7 menu the map load up embeded but the menu is gone and would not surface at all.

Also D7 hogs up to much memory after running for a while

Again have any of you guy had a better luck running D7 than me?

I'm having problem with a few files, i'm not sure if its because of the language problem or not, but it'll play fine in wmp11 outside of Freeice, but not within Freeice, any idea?

yeah I would of thought thats the reason, once I have finished off what I'm doing I will have a look at adding compatibility for you..

Well.. nearly finished the new buttons on the menu., for now I have added another 6.. when you press anywhere above the buttons the present buttons will scroll off left and 6 new buttons will scroll in, press above the buttons again and they will slide out and the old ones slide in.. works very well :-)

Sweet! No rush, just thought i'd bring it up.
One more problem i noticed. I tried using other pics as wallpaper, but it just wouldnt display, only the pics inside the background folder seems to work. Is that how it's designed or is it a bug?
Btw. the skin is looking awsome! Is it only me, or the buttons (mute,ffd,rvs, pause...etc) looked better with some sort of frame around them? (like the first version).
On another note, for anyone who wants to try this on a slow machine, I tried this today with a PIII 1gz and 128mb of ram and it worked fairly well! Not saying it flies, but it run fairly well.

Hi m8, if the pics show in pictures then you can set them. Your really limited to flash and what it can / cant show. Jpgs / png files should be fine.

Really? I can get my Japanese (file name, and song info) WMA songs to load and play... granted none of the chracters are displayed because it's not supported... but they do otherwise load and play fine.

CdR, I noticed a suggestion over on digital uk that I think would be great. How about a daytime/night time button or some sort of gamma control (automated would be the cats meow).

That's something I definitely took advantage of when using RR.

Also, any plans to implement HD radio control on this CdR?

Hey CdR I found a bug. I can add large playlists (around 2200 songs) and it works fine. However, once I quit FI and then reload it, only part of my playlist is there (bout 250 fies). Not sure what causes this, maybe the file used for playlist storage is hitting some form of quota. This only happens on large playlists as far as I can tell, seems every thing else works fine with reload except playlists over this ~ 250 song limit.

can you try to jump to the latest song(250?) and then push next track button? what happen?

I have a similar problem. When I create a playlist with the "add" button...I can see only the first 5 songs, but if I jump to fifth song and then push the next track button, all the other songs are show...however I'm waiting the 1.7 for some more tests...
