Yeah.. i am running vega with AMD Geode LX800 and 256 ram. Hardly one can consider this as a umpc, but it runs FI pretty good. And i don't load tons of music. just load what i want to listen which is less then 300Meg... No point of loading gig mp3s.. That's why it would be very good if it can load m3u. I can't wait for someone to come up with a nice looking skin for IG4 like the one that you see from dfx. Two thumbs up cdr!!!

    cdr,
why is it that some mp3s that i can play with winamp, FI is having trouble reading? i ran tag fix, but didn't do any good. It shows 0 min as if it's empthy.

about post #16, i'd freeze when i try to load about 1gb of music when im playing video.
I'm not sure if its something that i could replicate, if i could replicate the problem i will report back.
I have a feature request: My car makes loud thumbing noise if i forget to turn down the volume, could you make it gradually increase the volume as it resume from hibernation?

Just a thought isnt VB6 being depricated by Microsoft are you better spending your efforts coding this in .NET?

ok so I can not spell shoot me but here is the quote from wikipedia

"In computer software standards and documentation, the term deprecation is used to indicate discouragement of usage of a particular software feature, usually because it has been superseded by a newer/better version. The deprecated feature still works in the current version of the software, but it may raise error messages or warnings recommending an alternate practice.

Features typically get marked as "deprecated", rather than simply removed, in order to provide backward compatibility for software users. When other programs depend on the deprecated feature, their programmers need time to change their code to avoid the feature."

So is 2000 and XP the main OS's that people will be using in their cars.

VB6 will have problems with Vista, but then anyone sticking Vista on their CarPC is really needs to step back and thing what they are doing.

i am not trying to be a pain, it was just an observation and I agree 2000 and XP are better suited for the CarPC at this time but .NET runs just fine on XP W2K and would make for forward compatible code when and if anyone decideds to use Vista.

Again just my thoughts not to mean any disrespect I among others admire the work you put in to this.
