Hi, FreeICE uses windows media player so to swap vis you will need to set the one you would like outside FreeICE.

ie..
Start Windows Media Player up.
Right click on the players window and choose the required Vis.
close down.
Start FreeICE up and it should now display that vis.

EDIT: ok ran it full screen on my laptop, D9 starting brings up the start bar again, so that rules out my carpc.
dont have enough songs on my work laptop to see if it does the same with the scroll buttons. but they are working fine with limited number of songs. will test more later.

I've added a 'Hidetaskbar' option to Alpha 5 to stop the taskbar showing when switching focus :-). Unsure on the up/down buttons not working, I will need to look into that. Just wondering did you add the songs into a blank playlist or did you have stuff in there? I just need to look through my code and find why it's not calculating the correct number of pages.. seems it was left at zero.

yea i just added the whole dance folder into a blank playlist. i'll test it again with a smaller song selection, to see what the break point is.

i did read someone (rawpwr maybe) had a simular issue, or was that only coz of taskmgr..anywho thanks on the fix.

will try another viz apart from analyzed, as that still doesnt display.

Ok, tested the playlist, but with my laptop (win7 x64) and it loaded all 4444 songs and the page up/down works fine. Will see if there's a flash update for my carpc (win xp) I know all win updates are complete.

Good news for u, not so for me.

EDIT: ok no idea wtf happened yester, it's working fine today. Up down.. Good news all round

just checking in on your progress, been using it in the car for the past few days, working really well, no issues so far (apart from focus) but at night, its really missing gamma control. not sure if its going to be part of the settings page or due in a couple of releases.

little update -
Well I've been busy tapping on my keyboard getting ready for the Alpha 5 release..

what have I done so far?

Made a good start on an on screen keyboard (lots of boring code.. take 2 days so far)
Added CarTFT.com USB Radio (very impressed with it to be honest).. did this last tonight
Made a start on a settings screen
Added a couple more widgets and will include the live wallpaper
Coded in the hidetaskbar option

What I need still to do..
Finish off all the above
Fix the radio start up
Fix some exit buttons
Add a hide mouse option

think that will do then for Alpha5.. most likely a few days away

Gamma control... will take a look at it.

Hmm. That's odd. I figured it did so I have changed about 20 different visualizations in windows media player but it never changed that's why I posted.

I will have a play with the vis and see what's going on.. seems strange its not updating...

I've now added a signal meter to the radio.. think someone suggested it so here you go... o and it works as well.. lol

like your new skin, its all in flow...very nice.

some problems i have with the radio.

i have coded all preset buttons with the stations in my near.
as i change a station by using the bottom buttons its all right. it shows me the frequence WITH a COMMA the mid.....yeah iam a stupid german where all the letters are different to yours. dot or comma.
if i use the the preset buttons it shows me the frequence without a dot or comma, so that the radio cant find a station.
is it possible that this is a never ending problem between our languages ?
