Alpha 5 will be also coming with a basic webbrowser :-)
Seems to work ok, if you want to enter text into the browser you first select the text box, then click the keyboard :-) only way I can think of doing it at the moment.

OBTW, I tried embedding FreeDrive in this FrontEnd and it will come up fine the first time but if I leave it and try to go back the front end locks up during the transition. Tried FreeDrive Hidden, too, and it also locked up FreeIce. What should I have in the settings.ini for FreeDrive (I'm using Enforcer's FD 1.06).

Good news everybody! I am currently testing out the beta of Windows 8 and I thought I would get ahead of the game and try out free ice on it and make sure everything all works. So far so good. The whole thing works great so far except for the restart function (That's Windows fault though. It never works.). I even got most of the visualizations to work. I haven't been able to get my downloaded visualizations to run yet though. I think it's a resolution issue though. But overall i'm pretty satisfied with it.
Don't suppose this supports the Ultimate radio by Craig Brass? or what ever it's called
It currently doesn't but it will do very soon :-) I'm waiting for one to be delivered

Great work mate, you work fast with good results. The silabs seems to make some clicking noise when a button is pressed. It probably had to do with the silab firmware though so no worries.
Are you supporting the V5 slave or craig's V7 master? If you need something for the V5 or V7 just ask me.
I have protoype V7 slave that support I2S over USB and HID to control the module, no more 3.5mm jack and COMs to mess with. Cheap and easy to build at home. All I need to do now is finish the MCU firmware and the PC software for it. If I ever release the project I hope it doesnt end up like what had happened in the past.
Sorry I didn't realise there were a few versions. I'm getting sent a V5 if I remember rightly on loan and I've not done any reading on programming it as yet but from what I understand it uses a comport interface. Any pointers would be great :-) I'm coding in vb.net at the moment.

Do you have the source for it and I will see what I can do :-) I never tried FreeDrive to be honest.. most likely originally coded by some halfwit who didn't know what he was doing. Once I've got the next release out of the way I will take a look. (note to self.. start making a list!)
