    thanks

The V5 slave were meant for DIY, some were sold then came along CB who made the V7 master. There is currently no V7 slave in public.

I dont know which version of V5 slave SW for PC you are receiving but the orginal SW for it was done on VB .net so it should be easy for you, and yes it does uses the COMPORT to control the module. A few SW were made for it, I do know some members rewrote the SW, turn it into DLL or even into C#.

There are very very few who have the V5 slave so its probably best to support the V7 master first, up to you really.

No joke, for the amount of work you putting in for everyone, people should start donating to get their HW supported and not loaning.

Well I dont mind doing the coding for anything but prefer to have a device with me so I can debug it otherwise it can take twice if not three times as long. CarTFT sent me there FM radio f.o.c but when I approached CB saying I'm writing some software he offered to knock me a 10 off which to be honest when you don't have much spare cash it's still a little expensive. I emailed him back saying thanks but no thanks.

It's nrgizerbunny who's sending one over for me to play with if that's any help? I doubt it will make the next release (Alpha5) this weekend but will be in the one after.

    Thanks for the kind comments..

    No problem steve,

Well I did a CF plugin for CB's radio to help the community and not single thanks from him. Im surprised he didnt give you a radio FOC but then I probably shouldnt be surprised. Good for CarTFT guys though.

I know this is in the making, from the guys at centrafuse.de >

Hopefuly you get that FOC too, they are the one to benefit for sure. Since you are giving your SW for free you should work on No FOC HW no support basis LOL.

Its been 2009 since the last time I touched the code for V5 so I might have forgoten alot by now. Im pretty sure Ill remember some of it if you ask question unless the version you have is something I have never seen. Andy might be the one to ask.

Either way just ask and Ill do my best. I only drop by from time to time these days though.

    well done and good luck.

    hi,
how do get IGO8 in your skin. i always have a fault if i start it.
also try it to place it in the FI folder...nothing.

in part of ADS radio, a USBradio.dll for you which is running on my system.
what i have is, that if FI starts the volume is 0, so i must push it up.

    regards

So you can increase the volume and hear the radio?

    What OS are you using?

Hi fella, I think once I've removed the boarders it will look alot better... it's just knowing how much to shave off. I've got loads to do in the next couple of days see if the posted dll helps a little I might be able to adjust the radio's volume via FI

i had a long time problems with my ADS stick, ALL dlls from beezer are not working well. whats wrong ? i cant see the RDS text.

did the UsbRadio.dll, i give some posts before, work in your install ?

if not, did you ever programm your stick new ?
    what UsbRadio.dll you also test.

did your ADS stick runs with the Silabs files ?

    p.s.

Thanks for the reply. I'm having problems with Vista and the usbradio.dll. There is no audio using beezer's dlls. I have found another dll but it doesn't mute/unmute the radio.
I need to get an XP box set up to test further.

HI fella.. I can get round the mute / unmute if it turns it self off when I turn it off. Rather than sending the mute / unmute command when switching to the media I can just turn it off instead if this helps? It will put about a second delay when switching but it's an option ?
