    I would use frames and have the menu items running down the left hand side because (every one has plenty of width but some screens not hight ) it's great to have menu options but once you go to a linked page it's full screen and you are back to square one again.

    I personally can't stand websites that use frames - there's nothing more annoying than having to break out of a framed window, which is what people would have to do if they clicked on a link that opened inside of the main frame.

    The launchpad is a great idea, since it's just a starting point for people when they first open up the browser in freeice - to get people going to a common page instead of having to type the address.

    Ha yeah I didn't put a link in that.. The news itself is all bogus so probably should update that
    Have to agree with Kego beer frames are the devils work and a pain in the butt!! However you could achieve the same effect with divs if you really wanted to..
    Personally I hate any page that has individual scrolling parts. If the news does go off the bottom just scroll up a bit, scrolling is fun with touch screens.

    You still gonna have a play boyracer?

    Sure, I will have it up in little bit, might take some time to get the colors right.

    Okay here is my version, its based on Stretch's page, with some tweaking to make it look more appealing (IMHO).

    @BoyRacer0013 - The launch page looks great. Only thing I would add to the html is a CSS style to remove bulleted list:

    Code:
    ul
    {
        list-style-type: none;
    }
    FocusPC Stat:

    That could be done, but I didn't do that because I think it could become difficult to tell where one announcement begins and another ends.

    Nice it is tricky as we all see things in different ways

    The gradient does look nicer but I don't think it is worth the extra image download.
    I like the arranging of the headings although the news one does remind me of word's clipart

    I like the new buttons although wouldn't mind if the google one was a bit different (could steal the google theme) I just find it makes it look a tad lopsided and draws my attention or something.
    Final suggestion (from my testing of those buttons on another touch screen project) it can be hard to tell when you have clicked them. Making the action version a bright red or distinct colour might help that issue.

    Oh and one last thing I had some css there to make the buttons the same size so that if you wrapped the buttons adding a second row they would all line up nice and neatly.

    Just my thoughts good to see another version though and pros and cons to both
