Is the RCjoycon some sort of steering wheel converter or something ? to be honest not heard of it before. I have just wired up a game pad to my steering wheel controls and it works great in FI :-) If you let me know what sort of commands and how it sends them then I can have a look at it for you. My steering wheel control is kinda basic and only has 5 buttons which I've mapped to vol+, vol-, mute, prev, next

So if I add some hotkeys would that do for now ? something like p for prev / n for next / u for vol+ and d for vol- .. o and space for mute ?
Let me know
Steve
ok, I've added the following global keys. These work even if FreeICE doesn't have focus.. I will also add an option in the settings menu to turn these off if needed
u - vol+
d - vol-
p - prev
n - next
space - mute
x - exit FreeICE
They also work with the buttondown / up so if you hold 'u' it will increase the volume and keep going up until you release that button.
These will be in alpha 8 :-)
hope this helps
Steve
Thank you Steve.
Is it possible to make a setting screen where you can configure any key?

Seeing your analog clock, speedo, and compass reminded me of Tissy's Flash clock/speedo/compass creation from a few years ago. How hard would it be to add them to FreeIce?
I'm lovin the external apps!! Got buttons everywhere now!
Are multiple pages like the old FreeIce on the drawing board?

Hi fella,
Yep I helped Tissy out with some of the coding in his clocks and hence I have the source of them :-), thats where the speedo / compass / clock came from. well spotted lol
I've still got him on msn here so when I get chance I will see what he's still got about.
As for multi-screens, yes it's planned although I'm a bit unsure how it's going to work at the moment.. will test my scripting skills without a doubt.
