Thread: Cant install Freeway

ran it on a couple of my machines with no problem, ran perfect. just for testing i deleted the ge dover font off my machine and got the error message but after installing the font again from the font zip everything worked fine again. so dare i say i still think ge dover font is not installed on your machine. i have read online that sometimes windows xp has problems installing some fonts on certain machines. heres the steps i took to installing the font:

1. extracted the font zip
2. Click on the Start button, then click “Control Panel”
3. In the Control panel window Double Click on the Fonts Folder
4. In the Fonts folder window, click on the File button (top left) –> then click on Install new fonts
5. In the Add Fonts window Navigate to folder where you extracted the fonts in Step 1

ok i got it to work somehow last night, but the EQ doesnt work, and the visuals do not work. I haven't tested everything else yet though.

freeway ultra doesnt have an EQ and the visuals (eye looking button) doesnt actually show visuals its used to make the gps and video windows go to fullscreen mode

no EQ hhmmm me no likey the software looks cool though

if you want an Eq you could use the VB version of freeway, instead of ultra

VB version?

its an older version of freeway, and uses winamp as a way of playing most file types. it also has some features that the ultra version doesnt have, give it a try and see which one you like better.

1. go to http://freeway.christiancs.com/index.php?/old/release/
2. click on freeway-ccfr-0.5.0.127.zip and save it
3. click on freeway-ccfr-0.5.0.127-129.zip and save that
4. extract freeway-ccfr-0.5.0.127.zip
5. extract freeway-ccfr-0.5.0.127-129.zip to the same folder as freeway-ccfr-0.5.0.127.zip and it will ask if you want to replace with the new file, click yes
6. make sure you have winamp installed
7. configure the freeway.ini file and everything should run fine

LOL your going to scream.

i did everything you just said up there including settin up the .ini and this is the error i get

this is what the start up log says:
