Any artists out there want to make a nice logo for me?

There will be a ton of people willing to help you out in this forum, provided you demonstrate it is worthwhile spending any time on. Show us the goods, and people will come.... I would be willing to port my Skin to FreeWay (nice name) when the time is right, if I think it is a worthy product.

Surely you have a long ways to go? Unless you're such a gifted coder that you whip up a decent frontend contender in a matter of days (hats off to you my friend if that is the case).

you can do it with draw.. just lines.... the graphics don't matter... if someone here finds it useful to them then the skins will come...

like jit said... get a beta out there.... I'm sure many would like to build a skin if it's good enough for them to use...

I'm picturing freeway with like a road coming out of it from the tail of the Y... is that because that's familiar to me from something else?.... I think I've seen that before, maybe a logo from some rr skin?

I will be going away from Sunday until Thursday, so development will be put on hold for a while. However, after browsing around the forum a little, it appears that an album art downloader is in demand -- so, expect that feature in an upcoming release of Freeway.
