hopefully searching within a playlist for a particular song will be a feature.
dont know if thats possible with winamp, otherwise im pretty sure RR would have adopted it by know. but a man can hope![]()
"I also like Freeway. Actually, I've already adopted the name."
Nice move. Good luck to you on this project. It's a great name.

I wish i knew how to do fiberglass work...
Hey guys, hopped in the Internet cafe real quick here in the Bahamas. I'm having a great time -- maybe because I'm up 75 bucks on the blackjack tables.
I'll send everyone info re: the Freeway beta once I get home in a few days. Thanks for all the interest... Eubey, that's a very nice-looking layout. I have no experience with Flash, however, so is it going to be easy for me to update it if I decide to use it?
If I get some time tomorrow night, given that I'm not bathing in aloe vera from sunburn, I'll hop on the forums again real quick.
Have a good one, everyone!

RR can do this. No reason freeway cant either. I know this is off topic but look at the commands searchlist and searchfiles.Originally Posted by theheel

I will add this feature for the first beta.Originally Posted by theheel
I would love to beta test this out. I agree that RR is awsome but I agree that is is kinda clunky. I hate bloated software. Frodoplayer was nice in that it was so responsive to user clicks. It seems like even in the newest version of RR the is still lag time between menus. I like the feeling of instant menu changes. I like the small install footprint also! Im great with software and can't wait to try this out. I always wondered why RR didnt use the winamp librarys, as i really see no need for the winamp GUI to be running, even if it is in the backround. I admire your attemt to compete with the other frontends and think you have a shot here but since its 100% your source I would give it a name that resembles your hardwork. I've hated centrafuse over the last 3 versions and centrafuse has never made it past my desktop tp an actual carPC. Ive saved the open source apps for that. Good luck man, subscribed!

I'd really use this feature. Looking forward to testing this!Originally Posted by oeri
