sweet =)
I thought about having music videos in FW, would it be able to have the ability to make buttons in the main menu, that just loads a specified playlist? f.ex, besides having the normal "media" button, having one that says "Videos". When clicked it would just load a playlist, or a directory, into the current playlist.
Now I know why the hell I can't play any video.
Keep them separate please.
BTW, so far, it's great and superfast too.

You should be able to play the videos regardless. Are you just getting the audio or what?
In my "media" folder (namely: D:\Musics), I have mp3, roms, album art. Video is in separate directory. The way I organize the HD is like this: D:\Musics, D:\Video, and D:\Picture. Under musics, there are separate folder for album/artic and such.... the same for video. That setup work fine with RR and Frodo.
When I install FreeWay, I just add another mp3 folder under music (D:\Musics\mp3) and move everything was in Musics into mp3 and add other needed folders for FW. Music play well as expected. Album art doesn't show and that okay cuz foreign musics barely has any searchable/organized album art.
Well, I like FW, but I don't really like the way media is organized for the FE.
If possible, I would like thing to keep separate like RR (movie and album art has the same name, album art for music stay within the album.)
Okay just dont' refer me to use RR instead of FW. RR is really nice, but I always want to look for something better.

In the last two or three releases, this works fine with Freeway, also. You can specifically tell Freeway where to look for music files, roms, etc., even if they are in different folders. Freeway can recursively import media, as well, if you have multiple subdirectories.
Not quite sure what you meant here, but video and music will be separate in the next release.Well, I like FW, but I don't really like the way media is organized for the FE.

I haven't try the last release, so that could be change already. Will try it soon.
I like to specify where each type of media is located. Do not assume that roms folder is in media folder or "have to be" this way.
I don't really care for album art in video or music as I don't use them. With or without, doesn't really matter.
Oh regarding to RR music and album art. For example you have a folder called Johnny Boy Album. In that folder, there are song1.mp3, ... songX.mp3, and whatevername.jpg. Whatevername.jpg is the album art for Johnny Boy Album. RR doesn't care the name, just read the first alphbetical jpeg file and make it an album art cover.
In movie, it look for the exact movie name dot jpg. For example you have a movie called Chicken Little. The movie file could becalled ChickenLittle.avi, and the album are should be ChickenLittle.avi.jpg. Both the avi and jpg should be in the same folder.

This was changed a few releases ago.
I just added this feature to Freeway.Oh regarding to RR music and album art. For example you have a folder called Johnny Boy Album. In that folder, there are song1.mp3, ... songX.mp3, and whatevername.jpg. Whatevername.jpg is the album art for Johnny Boy Album. This feature has also just been added. In movie, it look for the exact movie name dot jpg. For example you have a movie called Chicken Little. The movie file could becalled ChickenLittle.avi, and the album are should be ChickenLittle.avi.jpg. Both the avi and jpg should be in the same folder.
