[FIXED] iGuidance GPS Not responding

Hey guys,

When I launch IGUMPC in FW the GPS doesnt respond, none of the menus work, and none of the buttons work. It is just unresponsive.

Has anyone encountered this problem? If so whats your solution?

I'm using the latest IG by the way.

- Test and see if iGuidance works outside of Freeway
- Test and see if you get the same results with FreeDrive
- Try it using the Luna XP theme
- Try it with a full version of XP

- Works outside of FW
- Works perfectly with RR
- My XP Pro is a full version
- Tried with Luna XP theme, works outside of FW but not embedded.

I have basically the same issue on my desktop computer (full version of XP, iG3 works in RR and alone, standard XP theme). I found that if I click the menu button while IG3 is running inside Freeway, that nothing appears to happen- but if I then close Freeway the IG3 menu is open underneath.

Any ideas?

Nope full xp version, i'm glad someone else is having this issue also.

If it helps, I also get the "ding" sound when I click on anything in the IG3 window (the Win XP "default beep") which you would get if you were clicking something that can't be clicked.

I gotta chk if i get the ding sound also, i dotn have any speakers setup so I'm not sure.

Try replacing your Freeway.exe with this one. Let me know if that works.

Oeri, you are some kind of coding machine. That new .exe fixes the problem on my desktop machine... I'm all ready to test it out on my carputer, can't wait!
