    Would this be possible

I have just taken delivery of a radio shark fm/am device and software. as I plan to remove my radio to allow install of car pc screen, was wondering how easy it would be to run this piece of software in Freeway. I tried running it as an external app its run's ok but when the x cross button is pressed the software still runs in the system tray so when you attempt to run it from apps section says radio shark is still running, any advice on how to cure this would be a great help or even better if this could be written into the program using a button somewhere. would be willing to send the software if someone wants to attempt this.

For that app, try setting hideonclose=1 in the extapps.ini

The HideOnClose option should just hide the window -- and not close it. This won't try to launch the application the next time you click on.
