School, friends, and girlfriends are overrated.... programming is much more fun.
Hi, guys -- I've been extremely busy with school, friends, girlfriend, etc., since early September and have only made one small update to Freeway. But, I have Thanksgiving break Nov. 17-27, so expect a lot of bug fixes and new features! Again, I apologize, but being a full-time pharmacy student is a lot of work!
School, friends, and girlfriends are overrated.... programming is much more fun.
Definitely! =D
oeri I'm a vb6 developer, I'm making small change to your software:
add multilanguage support for te interaface,
migrate from Winamp to Fmod.dll for audio and Mplayer for Video
If you want share info with me I can help you if you want. I've made a set of dll control to add common fuction to carputer software like msgbox, listbox, Open file, save file, input dialog, slider control, scrollbar.
Great news! Look forward to seeing whats to come!
Andy
Hi Oeri, thanks for you replay
To manage language I have made two functions, one for the general messages and one to translate the labels of the skin.
For the system messages a function function retrives values from freeway.lng file, place in folder "language\xxx" where xxx is one acronym that represents the language to use (ita for italian, fra for french, english is system default, so if freeway dont find language file use english)
For the skin I would like to create a dictionary file in order translate the more common worlds (music, video, gps, yes, no....)
The visualizations in FMOD it's a little complex, I have made a simple band equalizer, but FMOD returns a value for each channell so you can do a custom visualizzatuion system.
Fmod can set up the channels of the equalizer, like winamp, I has made a project for a software a like yours, a prototype, if you want to watch it you can download here:
http://plastico.altervista.org/proto...4Prototype.zip
Attention that are approximately 50Mbyte (source+bynary), so you can see how fmod and Mplayer works.
I've a questione, where is the code to manage the lists ?
Sorry for my bad english but I'm italian
bye
Luca
This sounds good. When I get a chance over Thanksgiving holiday, I will give it a look.
Good luck trying to find it. My code is awful, I know. There are functions somewhere called scrollList or updateList -- can't quite remember which ones they are. I will have a look when I get back to my room later this evening.I've a questione, where is the code to manage the lists ?
Thanks for your support!
