A request for the source code...

Hey Frodo -

It's been a long time and there are still plenty of faithful users here, some who are programmers and support open source software and the ideal behind it. I know you've moved on to bigger and better things so I ask would you be willing to give us the source to 1.09? Let us play and change and let it grow? Maybe set up an open source director for it, so there will still only be 1 release of it, but allow us to build on it?

We'd all appreciate it for sure.

You honestly thing frodo will be releasing the source to Frodoplayer?

Years have gone by, and nothing but false hope and promises from a man who fails to deliver

.. Its pretty obvious its not going to happen ..

Heres a tip: write your own from scratch!

He might. And he delivered on every promise he made. He always said what he intended to do, and everything was user beware....

So maybe we'll get the code. Can hurt to ask.

Keep clinging to that raft ...

Most (including me) have stopped hoping. Its not going to happen. Period. He'd rather let FP die and become an urban legend that getting people to improve and build on it.
