No I don't have volume to 100% in the settings.
I tried that also, check and uncheck.
Didn't help me

Try this.
Put FP in autostart
play a song with 0% volume.
Push the shutdownbutton on you computer.
when it's off start it up, wait for FP to start and BANG!

Try the same with 10% volume then it's just 2 sec BANG

my volume problem sounds somewhat similar... when i have frodoplayer running on a fresh reboot, everything works good, i shut the car off, 'puter goes in standby, turn the car back on, and the volume control in frodoplayer claims 0%, but it sure sounds like 100%. I cannot control the volume in FP at this point, but, if i close FP and open my creative audio mixer, simply change the wave/master volume (whichever frodoplayer is set to control), and open frodoplayer again, all is well...

got the via epia m10000 with winxp pro and sb extigy (my audigy 2 nx just hangs the puter when i try to play a song

)

Yeah but I drive 400 miles each week so I'm always listening to something on long journeys. But I suppose 400 miles is nothing to you people over the pond.

I could not get an error log, whenever I would have to end task, I would check the error log and it would be blank. So I finally decided to reformat HD, reinstall 98SE, install all Frodoplayer req's, install Frodoplayer, update to 1.08.........

NOW IT WORKS FINE!

The volume bug is only when you use wave-controller.
I have had no problems when using master

I use Philips Aurilium USB soundcard, with Sound Agent 2.

By the way, thanks for this software. I think it's really nice!

I thought I remembered something like this, and after a search I have
verified it. This is not a bug with FrodoPlayer. It is a bug of Windows
and USB soundcards. We may be able to find a workaround though.

There is no more problem
I'm don't need FP to controll Wave.
I changed it to use master last sunday. No more problem with that.

But if you feel you have to much time ;=)
