I don't have the touchscreen mouse pointer option on my laptop.

Did you install some software that added that? - I'll check my CarPC to see if the touchscreen mouse pointer is installed with my DWW-7VGA driver software.

How about an option that makes the mouse pointer disappear unless the mouse moves.

    For those that use both.

Now, that's a pretty cool idea...like it will disapear after 2-3 seconds of not moving the cursor. (Sorta like how WMP and PowerDVD and other apps treat the mouse when in FullScreen mode.)

Because it's not reliable, sometimes windows restores the cursor properly, and sometimes it doesn't.

OK, how about swapping the blank cursor file with a normal one if the mouse doesn't move for a while, and then swapping it back when it does move?

Doesn't always work either. Doesn't work at all over the dvd player.
