The EQ is not available programatically.

The best resolution for the EQ situation is to get a half din dash mounted eq that's a line driver, equalizer, subwoofer control that you can connect with your sound card. Audiocontrol has several options with such a thing, and it may be your best bet. They run about $200 for any of their solutions, and I'm using one right now and it's about 20 times better than any software control I could tweak with the sound cards. Plus it has a master volume control that drives amplifiers directly. (my two cents) sorry to throw this in a non hardware thread, but maybe it'll help![]()

Hey is there a line out feature that i could feed into the pc's line in?? I want to be able to record off the radio sometimes.. If i hear a good song and want to know who it is etc. Thanks!
Still not sure how well the d-link radio works in a car.. That would be the best but I hear they are crappy sometimes..

Is is possible for you to add a 'song options' button that will bring up a menu that will have single-click buttons to add to favorites or delete.
Something like this:
I run on a laptop, and I would like to have an option to show a battery icon somewhere.
Attaching to a light sensor would be nice, but that takes extra hardware. What about instead of using a time for changing skins, have it be a time relative to sunrize/sunset? There is freely available code (one example http://www.freevbcode.com/ShowCode.asp?ID=341 ) that calculates sunrize/sunset times based on date and latitude/longitude. You might be able to get this info from the GPS unit (if installed) or FP could add a list of common cities. It is also easy info to look up, using zip code or something.
I know you have seen my comments about random mode, and it seem like you are already working on something addresses some of the stuff I am looking for. I would still like to be able to see what the next few songs are in shuffle mode, so I can skip playing them before they play. I would also love to have some control over this and access to modify/query the database through plugins.
It is probably something that would be better done through a plugin, but I think I'll mention it anyway, so hopefully you can expose the functionality to do it. A speed compensating volume feature (OBD II or possibly GPS based) that raises the volume based speed would be really nice.
I am having a problem running the visualizer full screen (it pops back right away, still looking around to see if anyone has a solution) but I would like to have some invisible controls on when in full screen visualizer mode. I am assuming, like most other media players, that FP pops back to the app when you click the mouse. If I have the visualizer full screen, I would liek to be able to skip/pause, change volume (actually, not that one, I usually use me head unit for thatwithout changing from the visualizer. You could assign functions to quadrants (or 6 divisions, what do you call that? for people with widescreens) and have a double click to exit full screen.
Any chance that you could add in an option to let us select the sound device to use (specifically, I want to use the built in sound card for windows sounds, and my external USB sounds card for FP).
Anyway, thats all for now (well, too much) but thanks for the great app.
Maybe this should be in another thread, but since I just mentioned it, I decided to put it here. I got the full screen visualizer fixed for me. I guess the problem was that I had not run WMP since I installed the latest update. Now I can go into full screen visualizer mode, and it stays there. I couldn't find any way to exit the visualizer using only the mouse (except by waiting for the song to end) any plans to add mouse controls for the visualizer?
