I had some additional thoughts the other day.

While playing a song, if you single clink on another song, when the currently playing song is finished, it will skip to the song after the one selected. What I would like to see is that it plays the song you have selected (not theone after it) when the playing song is finished. It is a small change, but I think it makes sense to play the selected song, if it is not the song that has just finished.

You already said that you plan to have a true shuffle in the next version, what would you think about actually showing the shuffled playlist in the window, instead of jumping around the list like the current implementation.

This isn't really a new request, just a suggestion of how to implement what I mentioned before

I would also like to be able to use the main music player interface to build a playlist.

You would select build a new playlist, and give it a name, then it would pop you back to the main music screen, where you can play music as normal (selecting by playlist, artist, etc). or using the search feature to search for all the songs with 'unk' in the name. There is an additional button added to the interface, which allows you to add all the songs in the current window to the playlist.

This is kinda like the favorites playlist building in media car, but you can add multiple songs at one time, and you can change the playlist you are adding to.

Hard work often pays off over time, laziness always pays off right now.

I'm not sure if I missed something but I couldn't find anything about it...

The APPS-skin is seperate and you can't select different skins for day and night. Could you add an option to FrodoPlayer to select seperate apps-skins for day and night ? Or better: make it possible to put the APPS-skin in the skin folder so you can create individual apps-skins for each skin ?

I haven't had much chance to work on the apps skin portion. I will begin working
    on that after next version.

    Refresh rate for volume label

Frodo, how about increasing the refresh-rate for the volume label?
I just ordered a Griffin PowerMate, so it leads me to the thought - I'll be controlling windows' mixer volume level!

It seems like the volume level is updaing every second exactly, could you please make it faster? something like 5-10 times a second. It shouldn't overload the CPU as most of the times the event wouldn't need to update the GUI, so it's just a simple check.

    What d'ya say?

Is this REALLY a problem ? I know I adjust the volume according to my ears,
not what some GUI tells me.

Of course I usually adjust by listening, but it is important to have some visual indication!
Now, if I want to adjust to 80% level exactly, I have to do it very slowly. This isn't SOOO bad, yet it is very annoying
I'm sure many other users will agree with me.

Think about it this way - I never saw a headunit with slow indication for volume level. Actually, I never even saw a software with this kind of slow indication, these are the kind of controls that should be updated in almost-realtime.

    Com'on... It's just another VB event / timer =]

In regards to the volume refresh rate, it is mildly annoying. I say if it is a very simple thing to do, then it would be a nice update. If it requires tonnes of coding, then bollocks to it.
