I want to officially make a request for some sort of automatic ripping of CD's. Maybe a menu would pop up every time you put in a CD that would ask you if you want to rip the CD to MP3. It would prompt you for a new foldername and place the tracks in there in the way that you define how the filenames are.
Another official request is for some sort of autocopy or auto load of say a flash disk. I think it would be benificial if skinnable file browser was created to manage our large databases of Divx and Mp3.
My goal is to never have to use the explorer interface and just use frodoplayer

Great to hear on the CD ripping (nice to know you have though about this)
The "other stuff" i was talking about is some sort of skinnable file manager. You could access this when you want to copy new files from say an MP3 cd or maybe your WiFi connection. This would be similar the file manager in windows but have a defineable skin. you would be able to set up file synching and whatnot without having to exit out of the front end

Frodo, I am aiming to use your software with a custom keypad and a griffin powermate...I was wondering if you could add a search feature like caramp uses:![]()
probably pretty obvious, but you scroll between letters and when one is selected it filters the list.
Thanks

What is the reason why some of the requests are in Grey, like:
--35) Equalizer / Audio Control
... and how much of bribe or donation will it take to change it to orange?
Seriously... if it's just a matter of finding the code to do it, maybe we can help?

2) Unreliable
10) Large change in structure & code. Be normal and put everything under one root.
11) Does not work on all video cards. Also haven't got good code.
13) Dangerous to do. Do it yourself.
15) You can accomplish this through skinning.
17) Not possible with wmp control.
34) Not possible with wmp control.
35) Not possible with wmp control.
39) This one may actually be changing colors...
43) Not possible with current control, looking for replacement.
53) Menu may be beefed up, but the main player will always be the main screen.
55) Might change color if I can find ways to let people make it pretty.
56) What would be the point ?
And I do accept bribes for possible items...

LOL. Bribes are always nice I'm sure.Originally Posted by frodobaggins

I'd like to see a better randomization.. if that is possible. Sometimes it will play the same file 2 or 3 times before going to another file (in a folder of a hundred). With shuffle turned on, and hitting the next button.
