You are the man Frodo.
I'm going to try this when I get off work.
I wonder if this solution will work for USB GPS problems too.
You know, it's funny. I've not had any problems with my USB GPS receiver coming out of hibernation. But I HAVE had problems with the XMPCR....wierd.
Frodo, I'll definitely check out this mod later today. THANKS!

heh heh. I was just wondering...is there anything Frodo can't do??
Ok, I tested this on my via mini-itx.
Hibernate works when not using the xmpcr program.
When I hibernate while using xm it hangs on the "preparing to hibernate" screen. If I press reset the xmpcr resumes playing on boot without the software running.
I'm wondering if I did something wrong? Both drivers show a 4/16/2004 date.
The only way to xmpcr to stop playing is to remove power from the xmpcr by either unplugging it or removing power from the power supply.
Any Ideas?
Just as a side note: getting this driver fixed is super important since I don't want to have to shut down xmpcr software everytime I want to turn the ignition off.
Even If I kill all power to the usb port, when you resume after hibernate it doesn't work.
The only workaround I have found is to:
1. Make sure the program isn't running when I go into hibernate (ugh)
2. Kill power to the xmpcr usb port, then close the software on resume and run the software again (double ugh)
I said YMMVI will be testing with my own app with these drivers. My own app will
detect hibernate and cut off the pcr and close the port before hibernate, then reopen
and turn back on on resume. This MAY fix it for my app.

Frankly, if you can get this fixed for frodoplayer I won't really care about any other app.
I am going to go look at your thread on xmplayer layout and your paypal thread.![]()
Frodo,
I'm lost! I would love to test the drivers, but I don't know where to start. I downloaded the file, but it's full of "FTIxxx" stuff. What do I do with this??? (sorry...hardware guy).
