No sound while playing MOV file

I have video and audio when using the Quick Time and Real Time alterative program "Media Player Classic" from Windows XP. However, when I try to play the video from within FrodoPlayer I only receive the video. Is there something I'm missing?

Same results in WMP9 - Has video, but no audio.
This is a Shrek2 trailer that happens to be in German, if that makes a difference.
Great product. I'm a MediaCar user and thought I would test out FrodoPlayer.

If it won't work in WMP9 then it won't work in FrodoPlayer.
You must be missing an audio codec for the file.

Just tested an English AVI movie trailer and it worked just fine. It must have been the German audio on the other trailer.

reinstall your codecs. The problem comes from the decoding of the file.

maybe the file itself have no sound - try another MOV file.

Frodo: I also have a similar problem

I can play a .mov file fine in media player classic. In FP, the sound is jittery. I mean, its like the sound is skipping - not playing right

All the quicktime stuff is supported through quicktime alternative. If you can get the file working right in wmp9 then it will work in FrodoPlayer.

You are right frodo, it doesnt work on WMP9. Its jerking there too.

It works with Media Player classic though, the one that came with quicktime alternative. I have no idea how to get this to work. Are there special codec adapters for wmp9?
