    Interlock For Video/Vis/Apps

Ok Video and Vis are done.

But apps, I dunno what to do. I like the idea of checking
for whether they are allowed to run before launching, but
killing them if they already are running I don't think is such
    a great idea.

Suggestions on what to do ?

    Hiya Frodo,

I don't know how it would be done but is it possible to have a small program that will scan your drive on installation or maybe by manual command. It makes a list of the programs available for the pc and you can sorta make a checkbox next to each so it will not allow them to execute? Kinda like your voices list?

I'm just going to add a setting for each app to control whether you can launch it or not, I am more concerned with what to do if an app is already launched.

Whats the problem with just killing it? Maybe using task manager?

Why not just have an option to kill all apps that show up in the task bar when the program starts and maybe an exclude list based on program caption or window class.

Keep the ideas coming, I need as many solutions as possible so I can decide on the best approach.

When the car is running/moving frodoplayer could maintain fullscreen and focus. That in theory would allow somebody to change to whatever app is running, but the focus would instantly be back to full screen frodoplayer thus making the app "unaccessible"

Is there a way to run a wire from the BRAKE light in dash to the seriel port, so when the program senses a signal, it will allow vis, and video
The cool thing is that you can raise the hand brake a tiny bit, and the light would be on, thus allowing you to have movies on while driving...or have a hidden switch on the wire to switch to a constant signal letssay coming from the cd player's remote turn-on wire and have movies play in motion, but when you get pulled over or questioned- flip the switch and the program works according to law.
I am not sure how the aftermarket dvd players connect to the car to detect the parking brake, but the idea is to have a signal coming from the hand brake...and somehow be detected by the program.
