Make sure you get patch 2, it will fix the display issues.

Also, check to see if you have the cam trigger or lockout set to the same
    port and enabled.

Also, it crashes without the patch.
When I tell ya'll to patch, everyone needs to
patch. I often correct issues that are not
    listed. No patch, no support.

I have frodoplayer installed as well as my XM-direct.. but when I click on the XM radio.. I dont get a list of channels... in fperrorlog.txt I get a error saying that the port is already open... and then a bunch of errors saying the port needs to be open... my XM-direct is plugged into COM1.. and the settings is correct as far as I can tell in fp...

    any ideas?

Check all the other settings in FP and make sure you have no com conflicts (like the camera trigger). On another note, you verified that XM is using COM1 through your control panel, correct?

OK, I've got FP109 installed. copied over patch one and got no new results. copied over patch two and still don't see anything different. The XMPCR doesn't deliver any audio after a hybernate or now, even when I shut it down through frodoplayer and try to restart it through frodo. I am not sure what you mean by display issues...is this the failure of the highlite to go to the selected channel when you press a preset button?

I have FP 1.09 installed with a XMPCR and it works great. I've had no issues with it so far.
    Here are my observations:
I like the simple controls and I find it easier to use than XM's XMPCR software and XtremePCR.
The font size makes it very easy to see the information
I like the preset buttons at the bottom.
Slider control is OK, but needs a button at the top and bottom to allow scrolling line by line up or down.

    Chut,

    Let's dissect this problem...
The machine shows signal and I can move the channels around but I get no audio until I reboot
Does this mean you DO get auido USING FP109 after you reboot?
Maybe an optical sound card issue
Since you have a Nehemiah, can you disable/disconnect/remove your optical sound card and just use the onboard analog card on your mobo? This should tell you if it is a sound card issue. I'd put my money on the sound card as the problem. Especially if you can change channels and communicate with XMPCR.

Give it a try and let us know what you find. My XMPCR is working pretty well.

Hi Mike, yes, I can get audio from the rest of FrodoPlayer, I can also get sound from Mediaplayer and the old copy of Aaron player I've got installed on the carpc. That is what led me to believe it is not a problem with Frodoplayer. I also have XMPCar installed and it doesn't function after a hybernate with it open either. Sometimes when I close XMPCar and hybernate it won't function until a reboot. But most times it works just fine. (XMPCar) There is also an area in the soundcard control panel that tells me when there is not any signal coming into the optical port on the sound card whenever it is not functioning. My machine has been really, really slow to startup for about the last five weeks also and has been generating some new exotic noises so I figured I would re-blast the OS partition and start fresh to see where that got me. I'll probably start that this weekend. I can of course go back to the onboard sound but really don't want to do that. The quality of the sound coming from the installed sound card is waaaayyy better than that which the onboard card produces, although not nearly as loud. + there is the optical input that I currently have that I really enjoy, when it is functional. I think Im gonna start from a fresh build and see where we go from there.
    Thanks
