Who here is using Routis and Frodo 1.09?

I have Routis as my GPS program. I'm using the mini-mode. It seems when I push GPS, Routis comes up with Mini-mode as it should, but when I hold the dice down for 2 clicks to go back to Frodo, it goes back to Frodoplayer just fine. My question is, how can I go back to Routis again?? I'm using the task button, but no mini-mode. Pressing GPS again opens another instance of Routis. Frodo, are there further plans for Routis?

You have to go back into MINI mode and Routis will be there.

That is what I do as well. I think that is the only way to go until GPS embedding

Yeah its not embedded, nor do I think it will be because of the lack of a SDK with it. Best bet it to try and make a huge MINI skin with a large transparent hole in the middle of it to show the navigation through. That may work, I have yet to give it a shot yet though.

I was thinking the same thing. There are a number of skinning projects in the works maybe this is already being planned

That is what I'm doing. I'm pushing min and see Routis listed at the bottom with all the other programs running (FrodoPlayer, Routis, etc.) but when I click on Routis, there is no "dice" any more.

Don't use the min button on the main screen (this acts like the standard windows minimize). Choose menu from the first screen then on the menu page choose mini (mini mode). This should work, it is what I am doing.

Bear in mind that the "dice" will not be where you last placed it (reported bug where dice does not remember last position).

Ah, thanks for the explaination. OK, I'll try using that. Seems a little cumbersome though.

True, I can use that as well. I'm just looking to make everything easy to use. Of course, I know how to work things, but other passengers won't get it so quickly. I'm really looking for FP to capture Routis and manage it. Be able to go freely back and forth between the two. I'm also very new to FP, having used MediaCar ever since I've had a carPC.

Just my opinion. Thanks for the help.

Old habits die hard. Accustomed to doing it the long way I guess.
