Oh, and of course the medialib.mdb shows everything correctly
My next generation Front End is right on schedule.
It will be done sometime in the next generation.
I'm a lesbian too.
I am for hire!
Did anyone ever figure out how to display different language characters in FP? It doesn't look like T4 is coming out any time soon....

So, anyone found a workaround for this? What other front ends are you using to get multilingual support?
Well, I am having trouble with displaying foreign characters (Chinese) as well. The mp3 files are in currect chinese unicode format if you look at their file properties, but once imported to Fordo, only the filenames are kept in the same but all the others are out of wack. You can see it from the database table
The filenames display correctly in fordo player, but they are cut short. And the Artist - Song display on top of the fordo player are in the wrong coding.
Is there a way I can change the fordo player to display filename instead of Artist - Song on the top bar?
Nice, how did you get FP to display those characters? Did you change something in FP or OS?
I've tried many different kinds of combinations and variations. The closest I got is using the Chinese winxp, although Eng. winxp works with far east language support pack.
However, I am still not able to get the artist / title to display correctly and the filenames are cut off.
I will probably write a simple access micro to update the artist/title every time i do a syn. if i can't find a better solution
Does anyone know if it's possible to change the "Artist - title" on top to display "filename"
isn't that on the Main tab in Settings 1?Originally Posted by wei2cool
No, I'm talking about the top right hand corner. I want to change that to display filename instead of artist - title
