Then make sure you XM is set to the right port.

Also, are you using take 2 ?

Files with asian letters are always cut off a few letters from the back in window 1 and 2. Although window 3 always displays tag names correctly. English names are displayed correctly in all three windows. Please help me out here. If not, I'm going with resource hog Itunes.

Well since you put it that way, I'll get right on it.

Have you tried turning off filtering in the settings ?

Yes, I already tried that and much more but couln't figuire out yet.
If this issue is solve, I finally ahve mp3 program I'll stick with.

i am on the right port and like i said if i use mike exem program first that enables the xm direct first ,then fp take 2 works fine
i have even did a reinstall,deleted all old files first

Frodo - Is the XM supposed to highlight the active channel and/or go to the channel when preset is selected with take 2?

Mine is not doing either, just to let you know.

Some people dont wanty the currently playing channel to be the one from which next/prev buttons work.. but then lots of people do..

I think that we can please everyone.. if when you select a preset.. it selects that channel in the list... and keep the next/prev buttons to go to the next /prev selected channel.. that way anyone can easily get to whatever channel they want...

for instance.. I have a preset channel 43... but i wanna listen to channel 42.. I dont have to scroll down the list to 42 to play it.. i can rather hit my preset for channel 43.. and hit the previous button
