How to properly setup Sync?

Hey Frodo -

I cannot figure out how to properly have this setup. Can you lend a hand?

If I am thinking this properly, it will home copy over missing or/and changed files from my source directory (homePC) to my destination (carPC) RIght?

I glanced at the prelicator.txt but I wasn't sure if this was it or not. ???

You just add a job, after adding the job you select the shared folder on your homepc that contains your music, and the folder on your carpc's local drive and it will compare all the songs and copy anything that has been changed or added.

Can you go a little bit into more detail for me? Add a job using the replicatior?

Id go and read more myself, but I just had the lasik done and my vision is going ot be blurry for 5 days

So I cant really read the screen very well....

Sure,

First click on sync in Frodoplayer.
Then click the button Edit Settings.
Then click the New Job button.
Just type in a Description, like Music Sync
Just pick the source folder for example: \\server\mp3's or c:\mymp3's
Then pick your destination folder : c:\my music or wherever you keep your music on carpc.
You can either tell it what file types to copy or like in my case the folder only contains music so I just let it copy everything.
Click Save Job
Then just click Close and save changes.
Then just click Run all enabled jobs now and it will go through and sync everything.
After it finishes it will tell you how many files were copied.

Awesome, thanks! I didn't click the sync button at all because I thought that just ran it, and that it needed to be setup somewhere else. :beer: on me

no problem, it's actually a very powerful little program. Now if it would just add the files into the music database without having to resync, because with 6000 songs takes a while.
