FP Skin Questions

Im experimenting with FP 1.09 since it has XMPCR support and Im trying to modify the skin a bit to work on 640x480, but I would also like to change the colors a bit trying to remove the black backgrounds and brighten it up.

I looked around the settings and am trying to change the TEXT color. Right now its yellow. I didnt see any choices for text color changes, so I assume its in the skin ini files. If so, where can I find it?

Also, trying to figure out how to change the other colors. I see there are numeric values in Dec format. So I tried to change the background color to a light blue which is HEX C7DBFF. When I convert to dec I get 13097983, but after updating the ini file it shows up as a yellow-brownish color.

What am I doing wrong?

I have a sin question. If I am making a skin, and dont want a button on there, do I set the = to nothing? Or to a zero? Thx!

u have to set any button that u dont want to greater then 100 for both the top and the left.
so
left = 105
top=105
width=0
height=0

that should help

Don't set the width and height to 0, could potentially cause problems.
Moving the left & top are sufficient.

Could you take a look at this pic and my ini to see where I am messing up? I labeled everything for you, but the words wont be there in my finished product.
