    STOPPING windows services on startup?

Anyone have a good list of windows services that shouldnt be started at bootup for carpc applications? It just makes for a longer boot up and we all dont need that. Any one have a good idea of some that are not needed and can be turned off? thanks!

First of all, what OS are you running?
You can go to check this on blackviper's website, or do a on the fourms, it's been discussed before.

You can always tweak your BIOS a little bit too. Try turning off the memory check which can eat up a good 5 seconds.
Does anyone know how long the IDE auto-detect feature takes? Any saved time is good in my book.
