    FrodoCam Trigger?

    How sound the cam be trigger via serial port. The options there but how would you say link the reverse light to the serial port as such to trigger frodocam?

    I'm not the authority here, but I get the principle....
    But you'd basically tie the backup light to a specific pin on a serial connector (I don't know the pinout for the serial port, so I don't know which one). When you shift into reverse, the backup lights come on and power goes to that specific pin.
    FrodoPlayer detects that trigger and launches the cam application so you can see behind you without having to do anything other than put your car in reverse.

    Someone else help the man out with the pin-out for a serial port to accomplish this.

    I really donīt know if you sould DIRECTLY connect anything on your car electrical system to any of the pc inputs. Think you need to use a relay at least.
