The Menu - A Newbie Question ( Sorry )

All,

Sounds like a silly question. You know then menu on Frodo player..... is there any way to have it show when it boots rather than the player ?

Some times I just use the mp3player in the car rather than the Carpc and I like just having the menu one show with my Car logo on it as it looks - well kinda cool.

Id like to use it in the same way MediaCar does it.

So is there a function and if not Frodo any chance of having the option ? ( Ie a tick box in the settings to a) show at start b) and stick on screen until a function is selected.

settings 2/misc3... there's a box for it. Does that do what you want it to?

well anyway, there are settings to do what you want to do.
in Settings 2 > Misc3 >
Show Menu at Start
Keep Menu Open Until Clicked

I know... just showes you an ol' timer can still get lost lol. While we are on the subject I am changing settings etc on my desktop is it feasable just to transfer those settings to the car PC when I do the install and is it the mini.ini files I need to do that with ?

It would save me sitting in my car redoing every thing.

Right I totaly admit that I am been dense here ( probably cos I just got up ) how ever got the 'start with menu' option ok how ever no matter which of the other options I select ( and I guess it should be Keep FS Playlist open ? ) the play screen automatically comes up after a few seconds... Ahhhh !

Don't feel silly. The third setting, "Keep menu open until clicked" is actually
on the screen, but I accidently dragged it behind another control.

You will need to edit the INI for it. I believe in the ini it is "KEEPMENUOPENUNTILCLICKED", set it to true.

can we possibly in settings pick which module it should open on start.. ala media car ?

cos i listen to XM all the time.. and it would be slick if i could get it to just open XM right off the bat
