4 channel audio

I have a 4 channel sound card and a 4 channel amp. Is there a way to have music play from all 4 channels WITHOUT splitting the front? I would like to have the 4 channel output from my sound card stay 4 channels for games and dvd's. I know, I said channel a lot

What are you talking about 'splitting the front'? You don't want the front to be left/right?

And why is this in the FrodoPlayer forum? I think this would be a question better suited to the Car Audio forum....

I think what he's talking about is some 4 channel sound cards only play out of the front channels when playing stereo audio and he would like it to play out of all four channels when playing stereo audio but still act as surround sound audio while playing games. Is that it?

you got it. I put this thread in the frotoplayer forum because I thought you might be able to do it in frodoplayer. Any Ideas? Nforce chipset/sound

if you are using epia M serial main board, just use its 5.1 output to your 4 chennal amp

Install it and configure windows media player to use it.

Windows Media Player already offers SRS WOW features. Right click the title bar, choose view, then enhancements and there is a list of different things there. Try playing with the SRS WOW things, that might do it for ya. Then, since FrodoPlayer uses WMP, it might work out.
