Either A: hack your own WMP skin to allow you to adjust the WMP equalizer programmatically

    or B:
Write your own directshow transform filter that takes in the unequalized data buffers it for a few milliseconds, equalizes the buffered data, then outputs the buffered stream.

I have verified both of these work, but they do require C++ to implement.
So where does DFX 7.2 fit in. I use it to add bass since my Win98/WMP8 Tablet outputs audio like it was designed for tweeters only.

How did you do it ?
I try with no luck, i use ver. 3

The EQ is holding me from using FrodoPlayer and i'm forced to use MediaCar which is death.
And I can't ajust Bass and Treble on my Notebook

DFX is a windows media player DSP plugin. You could certainly use that for equalization, the problem with this and any DSP plugin for media player is that you still can't control them programmatially or ensure that they are enabled programmatically.
