    i hope it has a button for GPS
    ..and the next/forward buttons can skip between an extended list of presets..
    or the abililty to hide channels I don't like..

    How about selecting a channel with a numberpad/remote the way a TV works. 2,4,7,enter....for the 247 emergency channel

    it should have something like that... kinda like you can enter a station directly in the current FM module

    ...and display what's currently playing on the visible preset (favorites) buttons...
    ...and highlight the currently playing station when selected by preset button...
    ...and forward/reverse from currently playing station when selected by preset...
    ...and be able to switch back to FP main screen without exiting XM...
